Pashmina name comes from Pashmineh. It is made from Persian but nowadays, pashmina is getting popular in my country, Indonesia but I guess also in western world. A pashmina is an accessory composed of pure pashmina or a pashmina/silk blend. The blend ratio can vary, but the most common is 70% pashmina wool and 30% silk. A pashmina shawl will typically be about 36″x80″, a wrap/stole is about 28″x80″, and a scarf/muffler will be around 12″x80″.

I wrote this article because I also like to wear pashmina. A pashmina shawl, wrap, or scarf is a must have fashion accessory because it is perfect to wear for any season, event or occasion. A fashionable pashmina scarf, wrap or shawl has perfect finishing touch to almost any outfit.

When I am so lazy to dress up to get out, I would only add a pashmina to my old ugly but comfy shirt I wore and suddenly that old ugly shirt I wear became luxurious outfit. And, when I go to movie theatre where which I think the air conditioner is too cold for me I also always carry it.
